Stalybridge is a Tameside town on the River Tame, with Ashton-under-Lyne and Dukinfield on its western side and Mossley to the north. We pick up from the town centre and from Millbrook, Carrbrook, Copley and Heyrod, and take local journeys as well as Manchester Airport runs. The song “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary” was first sung in public here, at the Grand Theatre, in January 1912.
Your driver will either head through Ashton-under-Lyne to join the M60, or drop down to the M67 and take it west to Denton. From there the M60 runs south past Stockport to meet the M56, which takes you to junction 5 and the terminals.
Typical journey time: around 25 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day.
We track your flight on the way back too, so your driver is there when you land. Read more about our Manchester Airport taxi service.
We collect from homes, hotels and workplaces across Stalybridge, including:
We can also meet trains at Stalybridge station, on the TransPennine route between Manchester and Leeds.
Not just airport runs: we take local and longer bookings too, including trips to:
