Hazel Grove is a village on the A6 in the south-east of the Borough of Stockport, with Bramhall to the west and High Lane and Disley further out along the road to Buxton. Until 1836 it was known as Bullock Smithy, after a smithy on the old main road. Airport transfers and local journeys are covered from the village itself and from Torkington, High Lane and the estates around them.
The A555 relief road starts on the A6 just south of Hazel Grove, so your driver is on it within minutes and follows the dual carriageway west past Bramhall, Handforth and Heald Green to the airport. Pickups from High Lane and Torkington use the same road.
Typical journey time: around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day.
We track your flight on the way back too, so your driver is there when you land. Read more about our Manchester Airport taxi service.
