Manchester Airport Taxi 24 Hours a Day — Early Flights and Late Arrivals

Early Morning Departures
A 6am flight usually means leaving home in the middle of the night, when early trains and trams may not be running yet and nobody wants to wake a friend for a lift. A pre-booked taxi collects you from your door at the time you choose and drops you at your terminal, with the fare agreed in advance.
Your fare is fixed when you book, whatever the time of the pickup, and there’s no surge pricing. Manchester Airport now runs Terminal 2 and Terminal 3; tell us your terminal when you book and the driver goes straight there.
How to Time Your Pickup for an Early Flight
Work backwards from your flight:
- Find the time your airline wants you at the airport. It’s on your booking or the airline’s website.
- Take off the journey time from your area, using the longer end of the range.
- Take off a buffer of around 15 minutes for overnight roadworks and getting into the terminal with your bags.

Example: a 06:00 flight where the airline asks you to be at the airport by 04:00.

Late Arrivals and Delayed Flights
Landing late at night? Add your flight number when you book and we track the flight, so a delay simply moves the pickup to the actual landing time. Every airport pickup includes 60 minutes of free waiting after landing; after that it’s £20 per hour, payable in cash to the driver.
With meet and greet, the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board. If your flight is cancelled or you miss a connection, let us know straight away: our terms ask you to confirm this by email.
Book Ahead for Busy Periods
Demand peaks in the school holidays, in the early-morning departure window and on Fridays and Sundays. We recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead for standard journeys, and further ahead for the summer holidays, Christmas and February half-term.
Booking early fixes your price and gives you a confirmed driver before the rush. Travelling there and back? Book a return so both journeys are sorted at once.
